Layne's was the first chicken finger restaurant in Texas, starting in College Station in 1994. Their original location is still open!
Layne's currently has 13 locations in Texas but is in rapid growth mode, with many more to come in Texas, plus multiple units in over 10 other states.
The local expansion is part of franchisee Taylor Thomas's larger plan to open 25 locations across ETX over the next ten years,
Their Menu
Their hand-breaded chicken tender meals come with crinkle-cut fries, signature Layne’s Sauce, and a slice of Texas Toast. The marinated chicken is available in original or spicy recipes.
Layne's also offers a variety of other sauces, including honey mustard, barbecue, and ranch, in addition to their signature sauce.
Their "Soon To Be Famous™" Chicken Fingers aren't the only item on the menu. Layne’s offers a variety of other options, including chicken sandwiches, grilled cheese, and grilled chicken wraps. There are also freshly blended milkshakes in a selection of flavors, including salted caramel, vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, and Oreo.

Location
Layne's is being built at the site of the former Wagner Cadillac dealership on South Broadway just north of the 323 loops, right next door to the recently opened 7 Brew Drive Thru Coffee location.
